You will interact with people and businesses in the local community, be given products and experiences that a "normal tour" will not be able to provide and you will learn about the area and be able to show respect to the land, cultures and the community as a whole, as you feel and experience the "real" Hawaii island. A portion of this tour package goes back into the community each month to repair roads, clean and maintain historic sites.

With our everyday lives, the last thing a person needs on a getaway is to follow the cattle line and visit the major tourist sites. Unwind your mind, understand a community and its culture, and ease into breathing again.
Make sure to stop while in Kailua-Kona to grab some food and any supplies you may need, plus some To-Go for dinner. Be sure to get on the road by 3pm to navigate the road heading south safely. Arrive your first night and enjoy the rest of your evening by settling into a modern suite, which is centrally located to all your scheduled experiences, and relax. Tomorrow is a brand-new day...you made it to Hawaii island.
- Rise on your first day with a morning yoga session in a gorgeous tree embraced park; learn from a local artist/painter and create your own masterpiece while sipping on a tasty beverage; make stops at a tea grower and a coffee farm to chat with owners and receive products to enjoy; take a drive along the Historic Upper Cane Haul Road towards Pahala and then head down to Highway 11, back towards the destination for your evening dinner.
- Awake on your second day with morning Yoga in the park, then add some fun musical culture with a local guitarist private session; enjoy a designated 'Scenic Highway' drive to Volcano Village to a Tea Farm & Bird Sanctuary for a graceful immersion into the cultivation of fine tea; round out this peaceful day with a change from the rainforest to the Ka'u desert, just 8-miles away, for an easy stroll to a building through ancient lava fields to a piece of island history; head back to towards Naalehu and gaze on the sloping mountains, colors of the landscape towards the ocean as you get closer to the driveway to a path to sit under a bonsai style tree and see turtles surfing the waves to eventually close your second day.
- Breathe again your third day and feel refreshed as you check-out and head to grab a coffee or tea and some breakfast to your final excursion to the actual tip of Hawaii island to stand where some of the original Hawaiians/Tahitians landed on the shores of the island. After exploring this area for a bit, it's time to get back on the road and head to your next destination.

FROM KONA TO SOUTH: Try to get on the road no later than 3:00 p.m. from Kailua-Kona in order to drive safely; speeds are 35-55 on somewhat curved roads, with your occasional wild pigs, goats, dogs, cats and mongoose. It's okay to turn on high beams since there are no street lights, but please be respectful and turn them off for on-coming vehicles.
FROM HILO SIDE TO SOUTH - For Stay-Cations: Try to get on the road no later than 3:00 p.m. from Hilo; speeds vary 35-55 on fairly straight roads which encounter rain and sometimes heavy fog through the National Park. Be careful of the NeNe, the State Bird that can be seen on the roadway through the park. If you hit one, a driver can be fined up to $5,000.00. And, it is okay to turn on your high beams since there are no street lights, but please be respectful and turn them off for on-coming vehicles or in heavy fog.
